Hi there!
I am Stephanie
I'm the photographer behind Life Snaps Productions. I can't wait to have a session with you! In this section, we'll go over what to expect, some outfit options, and where to find my price lists. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out and ask, even if you haven't booked yet. I'm here to make this an easy and fun experience for you.
What to Wear
I get asked this a lot! Here are my suggestions for an amazing wardrobe for your senior session:
1. Wear Your Favorite Outfit: We want your senior photos to show who you really are. Wearing your favorite outfit will allow you to be comfortable, relaxed, and happy for your session. Dress clothes are fine, too, but the best shots are going to be in the clothes you are comfortable in. Feel free to bring multiple outfits to your session. You can bring as many outfits as you can change into within your session time.
2. Solid Colors VS Patterns/ Stripes: Solid colors photograph better, but might not always be your style. Small prints do some weird stuff with the camera sometimes, and we all know the rule on stripes. There is no rule on what you should wear, but there are options that work better. Solid colors, large prints, or large stripes are much better than smaller patterns or stripes.
3. Layers: Layers are an excellent choice, you can remove a layer and it looks like a whole new outfit on the camera. You can interact with your layers, like adjusting a sleeve, doing up a button, or holding a jacket over your shoulder.
4. Accessories: Bring sunglasses, a hat, your cap & gown, favorite watch, car keys, or any other accessory you usually have on you. These items will give your photos more of your personality, and we will be able to get you moving more for your photos.
5. Props: A prop is anything you want included in your photos. Want to include something from a sport you play or an aware you've won? Want to include your instrument, or something from your favorite hobby? Maybe bring your car, a skateboard, roller skates, or anything else that shows off your personality. You can even bring one of your baby pictures! Props make the session even more fun!
6. Hair & Makeup: I suggest any haircuts for sessions are done about a week before the session. This gives you time to make sure you can do your hair the way you want it and it looks a bit more natural. Keep makeup as close to how you normally wear it as possible. Again, we want your pictures to look like you.
If you aren't sure about an outfit, or have any questions, you can always reach out and ask me. I'm here to help make your session great.
What To Expect
Before You Book: You can book with me directly online, or we can meet ahead of time for a free consultation about the session and answer any questions you may have. Once you book a session online, I'll send over the contract. This protects both you and me. If you're unsure about anything in the contract, just reach out and I'm happy to go over it with you. You will also need to pick a location for the session (I'm happy to help with this if you need suggestions).
Session Is Booked: Once the contract is signed, and you have paid the non-refundable retainer fee, your session will be booked. I'll check in with you periodically to see if you have any questions about the process or about outfits. Let me know if there are any specific shots you want, any props that might be included, and any other small details of the session.
The Day Before Your Session: I will contact you again the day before the session to go over meeting plans and anything else we might need to know ahead of the session.
The Day Of The Session: We will meet at our session location and time. This is my favorite part! Time for the fun and celebrating your accomplishments and the next steps in life!
After Your Session: I will begin editing the photos. Once the balance is paid and the photos are completed, I will load all the images to my website for you to download and/ or purchase prints. Check the contract for fine details on all on this.
